Nigerian music stars, Asake, Kizz Daniel, and Chike, have been unveiled as the latest brand ambassadors of telecommunications giant, Globacom.
The rave-making music artists were unveiled at an elaborate and colourful ceremony conducted at Globacom’s corporate headquarters, Mike Adenuga Towers in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Their unveiling was part of activities put in place to mark the telecom service provider’s 20-year anniversary of landmark service in the country and across the African continent.
Speaking at the event, the company’s Director of Creativity and Innovations, Chuka Obi, said the appointment of the music stars is very much part of the company’s tradition as they believe the strength of a nation lies in the ability and potential of the youths.
“With the appointment of these new ambassadors to project the power of youth and enterprise, and how much they can achieve with the right focus, passion and dedication that can come from seeing others who have succeeded. These three celebrities as ambassadors, the best of Nigerian youth are projected as role models for younger people who are ardently striving to succeed.”
