Afrobeats sensation Rema reached a new level of excellence during his “Ravage Uprising” show at London’s 02 Arena on November 14th, 2023. The iconic venue was packed with 20,000 fans eagerly awaiting the young star’s performance.

Rema made a dramatic entrance, wearing a mask and black outfit, atop a stationary horse, and opened his act with his latest hit, “DND“. He then went on to perform “Iron Man” with Indian dance choreographers on either side of him, delivering a melodic and thrilling spectacle.

Before the show, Rema paid tribute to Burna Boy, who had brought him to the same stage in 2021. He expressed his gratitude, saying, “Before I go on stage, I want to thank @burnaboy for bringing me here two years ago. Today, it’s my turn to conquer this stage, and I wish you were here to share this moment with me. Nonetheless, I’m grateful for the motivation. With love, Rema.

In the second phase of the show, Rema performed on a giant stationary bat, and in phase three, he turned the show into a party. He treated his fans to a lively performance of his hits, including “Dirty”, “Ginger Me”, “Addicted”, “Why”, “Dimension”, “Soundgasm”, “Fame”, “HOV”, “Trouble Maker”, “Lady”, “Don’t Leave”, “Dumebi”, “Bounce” and “Charm”, from his growing catalogue of songs.

One of the highlights of the night was when Rema’s fellow Mavin Records signees, Ayra Starr, Crayon, and Magixx, joined him on stage for the performance of “Won Da Mo”. It was a heartwarming moment for Nigerian fans who have followed the story of each member of the record label. Over 38,000 people tuned in to watch the YouTube livestream during the performance.

Rema closed the show with a performance of his smash hit “Calm Down”, leaving the audience wanting more. This was yet another colourful feather added to the richly decorated cap of Afrobeats.
