Nigerian street-pop singer, Seyi Vibez, has surpassed over six hundred million streams on Audiomack.
Seyi Vibez’s artiste profile on Audiomack now has over one billion total account plays for his debut album, ‘Billion Dollar Baby’, and its deluxe version, ‘Billion Dollar Baby 2.0’.
He released ‘Billion Dollar Baby’, an eleven-track album on November 2, 2022. He then released the deluxe version, ‘Billion Dollar Baby 2.0’ on December 9, 2022, with five additional tracks, bringing the number of songs to sixteen.
Billion Dollar Baby 2.0 was the second most streamed album in Nigeria, in the first half of 2023 with over 131 million streams. It also produced two top ten entries on the Official Nigeria Top 100, ‘Chance’, which peaked at No.7, and ‘Billion Dollar’ which peaked at No. 10.
Although, it was widely reported that Seyi Vibez had become the second African artiste to amass one billion streams on music streaming app, Audiomack.
However, according to TurnTable Charts, it was confirmed that the artiste has 680 million total streams, and not one billion streams as previously reported.
Seyi Vibez has also hit the No. 1 spot for the ‘Top Five Most Streamed Artist On Audiomack’ this week.
